My nephew, Jackson, had a terrible accident that has resulted in catastrophic liver failure. He is in the hospital fighting for his young life. Still in a coma, he is progressing and as of yesterday breathes on his own.
Jackson is blessed with an incredible immediate family. His mother, Nancy, is really an amazing mother. She has written her prayer for Jackson and I am sharing it with all of you. Please, pray with us for Jackson.
Dear lord, you know Jackson so much better than I do. You know his sickness and the burden he carries. You also know his heart. Lord, I ask you to be with Jackson now as you work in his life. Lord, let your will be done in Jackson's life. Lord, I pray for Jackson just as your word tells me to pray, for healing. I believe you hear this prayer from my heart and that it is powerful because of your promise. I have faith in you Lord, to heal Jackson, but I also trust in the plan you have for his life. I don't always understand your ways. I don't know why Jackson has to suffer, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward Jackson. Nourish his spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort him with your presence. Let Jackson know you are with him through this difficulty. Give him strength. Amen
Just received this from Nancy--Jackson has had a breakthrough!
From Nancy: "Tube is out. Been awake all day. Followed my face and then Colby's shortly after. Trying to speak. Mouthed the word "beautiful" while gazing into his dedicated sisters eyes, 3 times in a row, "beautiful, beautiful, beautiful"!!! Colby and I hugged and cried for joy. God is great, thank you Lord!!!"
This is the miracle we have been waiting for! Hope to report more progress tomorrow!
Thank you, Lord, for being an awesome God. Through you, all things are possible. You, who took nothing and made everything.
You say in your word, "I am the God that Healeth Thee." You are not a man to lie.
Please heal Jackson and bring him back to a full and happy life. I ask this not because I am worthy, but in Jesus' name.
My prayers are with you and Jackson. You have written a beautiful and perfect prayer for him.
Really, I believe this is a miracle. I do not want to go into the details of the conditions, but today's events are a miracle.
Truly, God's Grace never ceases to amaze me, and the way Grace touches individuals, simply perfect.

We are at the hospital with Nancy, family and some friends. Jackson is starting to talk! He told the nurse: "My name is Jackson!"
We are on the road to recovery. We are crying with joy!
Thank you, this is beautiful!
