On Saturday students marching for an “assault weapon” ban stumbled when asked to explain what the term “assault weapon” means.
Campus Reform interviewed various students, finding unanimous support for banning “assault weapons.” The students were confident in their support of such a ban, but fumbled around for words when asked to define the weapons they wanted to ban.
One ban supporter was asked, “Do you know what an ‘assault weapon’ is?”

Parkland, FL — After the tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida last month, a group of anti-gun high school children became the darlings of the anti-gun movement. They were given widespread coverage and platforms on all mainstream media networks to call for the disarming of Americans. They were sanctioned by the government to do so—and now they are getting what they asked for—less rights.
In the Land of the Free, marching for…

Audit: Vet confined to bed because of government mismanagement.
BY: Elizabeth Harrington
Disabled veterans had to wait more than two months for the government to fix their wheelchairs, leading to some veterans confined to beds because of mismanagement at the Department of Veterans Affairs, according to a new audit.
The inspector general for Veterans Affairs reported this week on problems at VA medical facilities in its southeast network with its repair system for scooters and…

It happens every time there’s talk of gun control laws: The left predictably scoffs at gun owners, calling them paranoid for not trusting the state.
“Nobody wants to confiscate your guns,” liberals assure the rest of America. “Stop exaggerating.”
Flash forward to Thursday. Lawmakers in Democrat-controlled Illinois have passed a bill to — you guessed it — confiscate currently legal firearms from gun owners. So much for being paranoid.
According to Breitbart News, HB 1465 has…

A former U.S. Navy sailor who was sentenced to prison for taking cellphone photos inside a submarine – an offense seen as “nothing” compared to the scandal of Hillary Clinton sending classified material over an unsecure email network, has been pardoned.
President Trump issued the pardon Friday for Kristian Saucier, the Washington Examiner reported.
Saucier was driving a garbage truck at the time he learned of the pardon, the “only job he could find with a felony conviction,” the…
Talk of “sex change” is a scientific misnomer, argues philosopher Ryan T. Anderson in a recent article, since it is impossible to change someone’s sex by bombarding them with hormones or performing cosmetic surgery on them.
A person can pretend to be a member of the opposite sex, Dr. Anderson notes, but it will never be more than play-acting since one’s biological sex is a physical reality outside the individual’s control.
“Modern science shows that our sexual organization begins…

Mike Rowe is simply one of my favorites out there. I watch his show “How The Universe Works” on the Science Channel all the time. He is a very calm, measured, reserved man.
He’s very intelligent and well-spoken. Rowe can take a detractor down on social media in glorious fashion. He has perfected the art of subtly twisting the knife in the side of critics with calm, cool language. He used his ninja-like social media skills this week when a woman criticized his politics on…

To the CMA Foundation Board
From Mike Huckabee
March 1, 2018
Dear Board Members:
It appears that I will make history as having the shortest tenure in the history of the CMA Foundation Board. I genuinely regret that some in the industry were so outraged by my appointment that they bullied the CMA and the Foundation with economic threats and vowed to withhold support for the programs for students if I remained. I had NO idea I was that influential! I’m somewhat flattered…
