50% Say Clinton Should Keep Running Even If Indicted

Most continue to believe likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is a lawbreaker, but half of all voters also say a felony indictment shouldn’t stop her campaign for the presidency.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 43% of Likely U.S. Voters think Clinton should immediately stop campaigning if she is charged with a felony in connection with her use of a private e-mail server while secretary of State. Fifty percent (50%), however, think she…

Senate investigation finds 'systemic' failures at VA watchdog

WASHINGTON — A Senate investigation of poor health care at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Tomah, Wis., found systemic failures in a VA inspector general’s review of the facility that raise questions about the internal watchdog’s ability to ensure adequate health care for veterans nationwide.

The probe by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee found the inspector general’s office, which is charged with independently investigating VA complaints, discounted…

Memorial Day

Please take the time to remember our fallen heroes this weekend.  Lay flowers at a grave.  Attend a parade.  Spend some of this weekend to thank a veteran for serving.

Here is a link to a commercial that touched me.  Both my Dad (WWII) and myself (Vietnam Era, Cold War, Operation Iraqi Freedom) served.  My Dad was still around to welcome me home from Iraq.  Since we were both Sergeants, there was no salute.  But there was the proud hug.…

My Summer Politcal Forcast

This is an easy one.  It will be a very hot summer with riots outside the GOP Convention in Cleveland and riots INSIDE the Democrat Convention in Philadelphia.

There will be a great many violent events outside of events for Donald Trump as he campaigns.

The cause of all this violence is an extreme low knowledge and tolerance factor on the left.  This will cause severe violence in areas dominated by left.

The long range forecast for fall as the strong possibility of an…

VA secretary: Disney doesn't measure wait times, so why should VA?

Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald on Monday compared the length of time veterans wait to receive health care at the VA to the length of time people wait for rides at Disneyland, and said his agency shouldn't use wait times as a measure of success because Disney doesn't either.

"When you got to Disney, do they measure the number of hours you wait in line? Or what's important? What's important is, what's your satisfaction with the experience?" McDonald said Monday during a…

Schools Eliminate Valedictorians — Not Inclusive

How long can the bureaucrats in education extend the idea that competition and conflict should be banished in the educational system? Somehow, the school board in Wake County North Carolina thinks reducing competition will lead to a better education for students. While the board has to vote twice on the policy change, it unanimously approved a proposal this week that would do away with the distinction of a high school graduate with the highest GPA being named valedictorian.…

Does Obama's Troubled Childhood Explain His Bathroom Weirdness?

It is not considered polite to mention it, but Obama observers have ignored a great deal of evidence that the president of the United States was abused at approximately age ten and afterwards, in a way that would be criminal under American and European law.  This whole topic should be out of bounds for political debate, but now the grown up Barack Obama has issued an edict to American school systems, which are responsible for the welfare of millions of…

'Worst' charity for veterans run by VA employee

At first glance, the National Vietnam Veterans Foundation is a roaring success. According to its tax filings, the charity has received more than $29 million in donations from generous Americans from 2010 to 2014 for what it calls on its website "aiding, supporting and benefiting America's veterans and their families."

But look a little closer on those same filings and you can see that nearly all of those donations have been cycled back to telemarketers,…

How Facebook Became The Old Media, Only Worse

Facebook is re-building the gatekeeper role once claimed by The New York Times editorial board, but with less accountability.

A report on the inner workings of Facebook’s “Trending Topics” headlines exposes how Facebook contractors routinely manipulated the news feed to exclude topics and news sources of interest to people on the right. Here’s how a whistleblower put…

$10 Billion Later, The VA Makes Veterans Wait Even Longer To Get Care

When Congress rushed in two years ago to fix a chronic delay problem at the Veterans Health Administration, one of the key reforms was a new, $10 billion program called Veterans Choice.

The goal was to give vets an option of going to a private doctor if they weren’t able to get a timely appointment with a government-paid VHA doctor.

“If you live more than 40 miles from a VA facility, or if VA doctors can’t see you within a reasonable amount of time, you’ll have the chance to…

This Liberal Judge Just Put an End to Women’s Sports

Sorry ladies. The Obama Administration’s liberal minions and judges just ended women’s sports. The liberal argument currently being made for restrooms is not based on biology, but on what a person “feels they are”. Most commentators are rightfully afraid that this opens the door for “perverted” men to pose as women and freely enter women’s locker rooms and…

12 Years Ago Today

Today is kind of special to me.  The Saturday before Mother's Day is when I celebrate coming home from Iraq.

Alpha Company activated in April, 2003, 27 days after the rest of the Battalion we were to be part of.  We sure hit the ground running as by our day 30, battalion day 57, we had passed them on all the measurable.

In June we flew to Kuwait.  Hotter than bloody heck!  In July after a very hot two day convoy, we arrived in Baghdad, Iraq.

The team's first mission was…
