True size of the fed swamp will blow your mind
By Brent Smith
“Draining the swamp” has become synonymous with both the Trump campaign and his presidency. Although it’s not a new saying, it has stuck with him since he first uttered it.
The phrase was first made popular by President Ronald Reagan in 1983, who also said he came to Washington to “drain the swamp.” Reagan’s sentiment was identical to Trump’s in that regard. Reagan also wished to roll back the size and scope…
The Democrats are licking their chops thinking they are going to win huge in November. I am thinking their resist and trash President Trump isn't enough. So I have been thinking of some slogans for them to use.
Here are some for the Democrats to use based on their hatred of President Trump's Tax Cuts just passed. They want to end the tax cuts.
We need you to tighten your belt so we don't have to!
We know how to spend your money better than you do!

Merry Christmas to all!
I just thought I would take a few moments to share what my many Christmas’s were like in the military. Many today are away from family again this year. Some are in combat areas. Others are just on base doing their duty. God bless all of them.
My first Christmas away I was in Basic Training for the Air Force at Lackland AFB, TX. For some reason it wasn’t that bad for me. For my next Christmas, I was stationed at Griffiss AFB, NY. I did go home on leave…Continue

The 'John Doe' scandal widens.
On May 23, the Wisconsin Department of Justice (WisDOJ) received a call from the state’s ethics board. An employee rummaging around in the basement of the building had found a filing cabinet full of material from the now-defunct “John Doe” investigations into the state’s Republican governor, Scott Walker, and his supporters.

WASHINGTON – Energized by Judge Roy Moore’s defeat in Alabama’s Senate election amid decades-old allegations of sexual abuse, Democrats are now on a mission to take down President Trump.
Rep. Bonne Watson Coleman, D-N.J.
U.S. Rep. Bonne Watson Coleman, D-N.J. – who last month called President Trump “absolutely disgusting” and “an embarrassment as president of the United States of America” who “makes [her] sick to [her] stomach” – is now demanding President Trump be investigated…

Judge Moore and Chess
I know we are not happy with Judge Moore losing in Alabama last night. Take heart that the news is not all bad.
This reminds me of a game of chess I played with a friend back at Griffiss AFB, NY many many years ago. I had never beaten my friend and this game was looking no different. I was pushed back into my corner on the left of the board. I was studying the situation and saw I had my queen backed by a bishop on the diagonal that ended at the center pawn of…
Contrary to popular perception, Al Franken did not resign this week.
He only announced his intent to resign at a future date uncertain. Here’s what he said:
[T]oday I am announcing that in the coming weeks I will be resigning as member of the United States Senate. I, of all people, am aware that there is some irony in the fact that I am leaving while a man who has bragged on tape about his history of … sexual assault sits in the Oval Office and a man who has repeatedly preyed on…

The Department of Veterans Affairs has carried on with the practice of hiring doctors with malpractice claims and felony convictions in their backgrounds.
A USA Today investigation has found that the VA’s hiring process for physicians may not be as thorough as it seems.
The hiring process entails license verification and reference-checking, but it appears as though VA officials have some amount of discretion when they discover medical licensing problems, malpractice or felony…
