The Indiana Republican Assembly

It seems to be with the new positions of leadership of this country being held with the liberal majority that conservatism is under fire…that some are confused and questioning what it is exactly that we stand for…what exactly is it that makes us who we are, what our beliefs are, why we hold them so dear and why it is so important that we continue to do so!

We as true Conservatives believe in the constitution as it was intended and uphold it daily! Religious freedom is fundamental, we… Continue

Memorial Day Thank You to Veterans

Time for a history lesson. What better day to teach the foreign exchange student in the White House a lesson about American exceptionalism, heroism, and greatness?

America's European Arrogance (hat tip Joan S)

Monuments to Christian Heritage By Stephen McDowell

Guest Columnist - 5/9/2009 5:00:00 AM

Throughout history, nations have built monuments, usually to record victories in battle or to honor their gods. Every nation's monuments and national symbols reflect the heart of the people and identify what they believe is the source of their nation's greatness and achievements.

However, America's monuments were not built to record countries conquered or battles won. Our memorials contain the declaration that the source of our birth,… Continue

The Democrats' Missing History By JEFFREY LORD

As Democrats prepare to nominate Sen. Barack Obama to be the first black president, the Democratic National Committee and its chairman, Howard Dean, have whitewashed the party's horrific and lengthy record of racism. The omission is in the section of the DNC Web site that describes the party's history. The missing history raises the obvious question of whether the Democrats, unable or simply unwilling to put their party on record as taking direct responsibility for one of the worst racial… Continue

Indiana Court Case concerning the eligibility of Obama to receive Indiana Electoral Votes for President, in Court of Appeals

Someone said Obama birth certificate. Did you know that there is legitimate legal action in our state to address Obama's eligibility from another angle? They took a unique coarse of action concerning the "Certificate of Ascertainment" the Governor signs in regards to the Electoral vote. I've pasted below (in order) emails detailing the case. If nothing else, they've educated and are drawing much needed attention to the rule of law.

Synopsis: Cause #49D10-0812-PL-055511, County of Marion,… Continue

The Wondering Brit {I have Shamelessly Borrowed from a British Blogger} http://twbrit.com/2009/03/09/hey-obama-scrw-you/

Just pondering across the web in wonderHey Obama - Scr*w You!!!

You know, that is a heading I never thought I would write…

I’m not a fan of Gordon Brown, or of the way our last few governments have thrown away our national principles, but when it comes to diplomatic relations, the pomp and protocol - certain criteria have to be observed out of nothing more than respect.

So, when our troll, sorry Prime Minister, travels all the way over to see you and finds that for… Continue

Senator States that Eligibility is up to the voters

Dear Fellow Citizens,

This is the most alarming news story that I have read in this whole agonizing process!!

Is a Constitutional requirement to be set aside on the basis of the vote of only 25% of the eligible voters? What is the value of this Senator's oath of office to uphold the Constitution? If he is willing to disregard the plain statement in the Constitution, has he not violated his oath? If we are subject to decisions based on the majority of "those who voted" are we still a… Continue

From the Weekly Standard Blog

Boehner: Republicans Free to Attack

For the first five weeks of Barack Obama’s presidency, congressional Republicans sought to avoid direct confrontation with the popular president. (See here.)

No longer.

At a meeting of the Republican conference this morning, House Minority Leader John Boehner said that his party has an obligation to challenge Obama in a clear, unambiguous manner.

“There's no point in ‘triangulation’ when it comes to this budget. It's the… Continue
