Understand the scope of this story and you understand the reason why the entirety of the progressive left has been harping on the Trump University story. They are desperate to keep eyes and attention from the San Jose violence and the city officials who factually facilitated and organized it. Of course the insufferable GOPe and ‘Conservative Punditry’ are stupid enough not to see that.
Newly released arrest reports, from one of the only charges filed so far in the San Jose mob attacks against Donald Trump supporters, contain some harrowing accounts written by under cover police officers who witnessed the onslaught.
Below you will find an 8 page pdf of police statements outlining the violence they witnessed. Example:
Under Cover San Jose Officer #1: […] Throughout the afternoon and evening I watched several individuals wearing “Trump” articles of clothing getting punched, kicked and pushed.
Under Cover #2: […] I was assigned to the Covert Response Unit and dressed in a plainclothes capacity. … As time came closer to 18:00 more protesters arrived; mostly younger males and females between the ages of 14 to 25. … some began burning the United States flag in the middle of the street. It became inherently dangerous for anyone wearing a hat or T-Shirt in support of Trump. I observed Trump supporters being spit on, objects being thrown at them, punched, kicked and even robbed of their personal belongings. In these instances I observed victims running for their lives because protesters began adopting the mob mentality and attacking people. I was unable to make contact with any of these victims due to my undercover capacity and fear for my own safety as well.
These are just two of many almost identical officer written reports found in the arrest records of individuals detained as an outcome of their violent behavior.
The undercover officers’ observations were included in the arrest report of Antonio Moses Fernandez, 19, of San Jose, who is accused of throwing a metal barrier into a police skirmish line following the Trump rally June 2 outside the San Jose Convention Center.
Read the police descriptions:
According to numerous eye-witness reports, in addition to the lack of action by the undercover police officers, the uniformed police officers were under a departmental order to stand down and not assist any victim of the mob attacks.
Several victims have now approached media to inform them of conversations where they cried out for help during the beatings only to be told by uniformed officers of the San Jose Police Department that they were under strict instructions not to aid any Trump supporter.
San Jose Police Chief Garcia admitted his officers were instructed not to stop violent protesters from beating the Trump rally attendees. In addition the San Jose Mayor has openly admitted to approving the San Jose police departments plans, and blamed Donald Trump for having the audacity to have a rally in “his city“.
So far, according to press releases from the San Jose Police Department, Fernandez is the only person to be criminally charged stemming from the violence that erupted outside Trump’s rally last week.
Three other people were also arrested the day of the rally, including Ahmed Abdirahman, 19, of Santa Clara, and Robert Trillo, 18, both on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, and Michael Kitaigorodsky, 19, of San Jose, on suspicion of refusal to disperse.
A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, both of San Jose, were arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon. A 16-year-old Milpitas resident was arrested for misdemeanor battery. Their names were not released because they are minors. [Press Release Here] The attacks were seen in television reports.
were seen in television reports.
Notice the only arrests made so far are those who were violent toward the police. None of the mob participants who were involved in beating the Trump Rally attendees have been brought to justice.
Why? Could it be because any prosecution of those incidents would also carry additional investigative inquiry as to the victims statements? Maybe San Jose PD does not want sunlight upon records of victim statements outlining the refusal of police to protect their citizens.
Me Here......I saw the same refusal by Lansing, MI City police and the MI State Police during the Right to Work debates here in December 2012. So this political inaction by police to protect conservatives is nothing new. It is a complete disgrace to the uniform. Whoever issued the stand down order should and must be fired!
Karen and myself later testified about this inaction to a State House Subcommittee. Sadly, nothing was ever done about this.
