After doing several shows with Chalice and posting numerous "blogs" and "discussions" on the money bomb which ended last night it seems folks are not as concerned about the future of America as I thought. Only a few hundred dollars were raised. I can hear the excuses..."I didn't know about it" "What difference could it make" "Times are too hard to donate" etc etc.........We can only make a difference if we act, and sometimes that means putting a cup of water in our soup. My small business has gone under leaving me buried in debt but I managed to raise $100 to start the Money Bomb. I asked for 29 more people to match my donation to give PHN a much needed $3000 in a weeks time. I'm literally struggling to keep the lights on but my dilemma pales in comparison to a true Patriot in this group from Georgia named Mary Sizemore. She is on a fixed income, she has health problems, her husband died three weeks ago...however she sold her husband's prized possession, his Fender Strat Guitar, to raise her $100 to match mine. Hopefully she will not mind me saying that she literally wept when she sold it. To me, Mary Sizemore is a true PATRIOT!!!!! May God bless Chalice, Mary Sizemore, Lyn, CJ, Mamacooks and the rest of the PHN crew for sacrificing and trying so hard to make a difference. As for me, I realize the time is short and I want my time and efforts to count. I hereby resign my affiliation with PHN with deep regrets. I will continue my work to fight tyranny as I am sure PHN will also. Here's another quote from Mark Twain: "In the beginning of a change the Patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a Patriot."
