Reply from a Congressman

Posted on March 17, 2010 at 3:58pm 0 Comments

This week I sent an email to several email addresses that were posted on the Internet. I just wanted to speak my peace, have my say, I wnted to know SOMEONE in my government was listening to the people. I received this reply and I want to share it with you! Please sent this Congressman Mike Ross from Arkansas a nice note! He's listening, he understands and he cares about the well-being of Americans! We have been throwing stones, weilding bats... please…

This is an article from the August edition of the American Legion Magazine

Saturday, August 1, 2009

Schoolchildren of Waregem, Belgium, spend the better part of each year learning to sing “The Star Spangled Banner” in English. It is an 85-year-old tradition that reaches a crescendo every Memorial Day at Flanders Field American Cemetery, where 368 U.S. soldiers are buried. This year, nearly 3,000 visitors… Continue

Is Dropping the "Public Option" in favor of "Government Co-Operatives" really a victory or change in policy??

Posted on August 19, 2009 at 10:27am 0 Comments

In one of the biggest bait and switch schemes ever perpetrated on the American population, the White House has signaled that the so-called "public option" or government owned health insurance will be dropped from its massive effort to reform healthcare. The man who occupies the Oval Office (OOO) stated over the weekend that "the public option, whether we have it or don't have it, is not the… Continue

Janet, just a line to let you know the ultra sound on my carotid arteries was wrong. I had a bilateral CT angiogram Friday and today the doctor's office gave me the good news, no blockage whatsoever. So I'm not a walking stroke waiting to happen. Please forgive my discouragement and whining, as I have asked God to forgive me. God is good, and somehow He will provide a way to keep this site and the station up and running!

As for my husband's guitar, it doesn't matter any more, it was just another piece of "stuff". No one can ever take away my memories we made in our short time together and that's more important that any stuff of this world. We'll be reunited and that's what matters.

Thank you again for your patience and support, you help me keep looking to God when I'm at my lowest. I can't ask for more.

God bless you my friend,

Janet, I thank you for your kind words, your beyond the call of duty dedication, your love and support. I figure that yes, we've just become another one of the "crowd", which is why I put my email out to all my so called friends from every group. As for those thinking the internet is "free", obviously they haven't been paying attention, Obummer is close to controlling it, too. As for anyone thinking this network asking for money is a fraud, those people are the frauds, calling themselves patriots in the name of being a groupie instead. I spent last night praying and see that still no one has the intestinal fortitude to put their money where their mouth is. I, too, have to worry about the food shortage. I'm not looking forward to eating pine needles, kudzu, dandelions, living on the run, but when it comes to that I'll be grateful God provides for me. It no longer matters to me that I let that guitar go, it was just a material object, of no value where I'm going to spend eternity. God gave Gary a brand spanking new Stratocaster to play in His band. What matters is the complacency and greed still so ingrained in the so called patriots on these sites. Talk, talk, talk, that's all they are willing to do. I'm no longer fearful what will happen to me, God will take care of me so long as I stay the course, which I will. I woke up this morning fully renewed in the rightness of our cause, all glory to God. What will be in the future will be, I have no control over that, all I can do is have faith in God and continue to pray for the souls of the rest in this country who are making other choices. I know many have lost jobs, many have lost businesses, many have lost much, much more than I have, and I feel sorrow for them. As a true patriot I will continue on in our rightous fight. As a true born again child of God I will continue on in our rightous fight. As a true citizen of this soon to be former great country I will continue on in our rightous fight. God help us all!!

Janet, I don't know what I'd do without you and your support. I'm so disappointed and depressed right now about Mike Miller's "money bomb" not getting through to people, backed by your email and mine. It's just not right. I had to sell my husband's stratocaster guitar, the one he played in his band in the 60s and 70s and still meant the world to him, just to replace my donation so I could pay my electric bill. I did that willingly, although it was the only thing of value to him (besides me and his children) I was planning to keep and worth a whole lot more than the $100 I had to accept for it, just knowing the other members would come through. And so far, nothing from the others. How can I keep believing more than five of us on here are true patriots when they won't even help keep this site up and the station broadcasting? Are they going to sit back in their cushy living rooms and watch us fight the war for them, too? Not this one, I'll fight for my home and neighborhood, but the rest might as well drive themselves to the Fema camp and the ovens. All their big talk seems to be just that, hot air. Forgive me my friend, God works in mysterious ways, and if we're meant to stay here He'll provide. In the meantime, I'm getting off here and going to pray some more. At least I've still got my husband's ponytail and our memories. By for now, too hard to see through the tears to type.

Hi Mamacooks:

I received an email from Mary Sizemore from Georgia. She just lost her husband a few weeks ago and is having her own health issues. She matched my $100 donation even though it took about half her monthly income!! I'm bankrupt and out of work. If Mary and I can do this I know there should be others that can. The "Money Bomb" I launched will end this Monday at midnight. I've been real busy this week trying to keep the wolf away from the door and haven't had time to push this like I'd wished. I have posted several blogs, and discussions about it on the PHN site about it. I feel there's an urgency for true Patriots to rise to the Challenge!!

Thank you so very much for your kind words and your prayers, Janet, they really mean a lot to me. Even with so long a time to prepare for this, it was hard to stay strong to say goodbye as they wheeled his body out the door. I'm not sleeping well nights, still on his med schedule, but that will get straightened out with time (or not, doesn't really matter if my days and nights are upside down). Watching tv shows we watched together regularly is hard without him, I reach over to his bed and tell him it's just no fun without him laughing with me. God has been so good and merciful to me, holding me gently in His hands through it all, sending His angels to minister to my heart. Gary's picture next to my computer is going to wear out from my touching it if I don't tape over his face to protect it. I've got him up as my computer wallpaper, too, though, and can't touch that picture, it's one of those you're not supposed to touch, so I just look and talk to that one. I miss him terribly, even all the work involved in keeping him comfortable and happy. When the time for grieving is over God will let me know and will let my heart sing again. Until then, I do my best to be an inspiration to others, to show them the mighty power of God through my life and attitude. I'm just glad you gave me my task here on Patriots Heart Network, it keeps me grounded and going forward and I've gotten to meet so many wonderful, compassionate people. God bless you and thank you again, my friend.
